Clover Fowlie's Portfolio

My name is Clover Fowlie. I am a graduate of Wilfred Larier’s Game Design and Development Program. During this program I focused on believable and engaging character and story design, as well as creating music and soundtracks to bring games to life. The main focus of this program was in creating video games not just for fun, but as a vehicle for making a point and driving discussion about important topics in the real world. The idea was that games can allow us to hold a mirror up to ourselves and our world in a way that allows us a new perspective. I intend to take this view of games along with the skills and techniques learned through the program to create games that are fun and entertaining while having a larger purpose.

This is a sample of the music I have created since beginning Laurer’s program in 2020. This is a culmination of both the training and experience developed throughout the program and a lifetime of exposure to and passion for music. I have been around music since I was born, with a father who is a Choral Director and mother involved in the choir as well. This caused me to be involved in vocal training, choirs, as well as guitar, flute, ukelele, bass, saxophone, and piano lessons. I am eager to combine my life of experience along with the formal training I received to build a career creating video game music.
